Reduce Risks for Invasive Species Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on your donations to help us promote cost-effective strategies to reduce invasive species problems; Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of the National Capital Area #17382. Our mission is to educate Americans on the risks posed by invasive species to the economy, environment, and public health of the United States, and promote cost-effective strategies to reduce those risks. Invasive species, from large vertebrates like the Burmese python to microscopic pathogens such as Dutch elm disease, can wreak havoc on American ecosystems and the economy. Each year, invasive species cause and estimated $1.4 trillion in damage to our world economy, and may be responsible for the population declines of up to 80% of endangered species. Maintaining the natural integrity of our ecosystems is key to achieving long term ecological, human, and economic health. Every donation makes a difference, and is much appreciated.

Your donations will specifically help us educate, advocate, and promote best practices for invasive species in various arenas and help promote non-regulatory solutions to invasive species problems around the country. Through meeting with government agencies, sponsoring Congressional education programs, and seeking out private partners, RRISC is the only national non-profit with a comprehensive focus on invasive species.
